For this project we were restricted to building a pavilion supported by four columns. We approached this design through use of pure geometry. In order to create an intimate space where weddings and other ceremonies will take place, the columns are divided to create several spatial areas. Each series of columns bloom upward and also acts as a rain collector. The system of columns and beams are used in variations, and tested in Grasshopper to create this organic pavilion.
